Khamma Gujarat
Khamma Gujarat is one of Sairam Dave’s most celebrated international productions, created as a tribute to Gujarat’s language, culture and identity. Presented extensively across East Africa, the programme became a cultural gathering for the Gujarati community, bringing together stories, humour, music and shared memories that strengthened their connection with their roots.
Beyond the stage, Khamma Gujarat also became a platform for social impact. In 2015, the performances helped raise USD 4 million towards the treatment and welfare of children with cerebral palsy. A decade later, the 2025 Kenya tour raised a further USD 300,000 for the same cause. In recognition of these efforts, Sairam Dave was appointed Brand Ambassador of the Cerebral Palsy Centre in Kenya, where he continues to support initiatives promoting inclusion, care and dignity for persons with cerebral palsy.
