For Sairam Dave, a performance has never been just about the audience in front of him. Over the years, he has used the stage to support causes that matter, presenting more than 100 performances for Government of Gujarat initiatives including Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Garib Kalyan Mela and Mahila Sammelan. His compositions and performances have carried messages of education, women’s empowerment and social awareness to villages, schools and communities across Gujarat.

His work has also reached places where performances are rarely expected. From prisons and mental health institutions to charity programmes for children with special needs and persons with cerebral palsy, Sairam Dave has consistently used storytelling and humour to connect with people beyond conventional stages. Through Khamma Gujarat, he helped raise USD 4 million in 2015 and a further USD 300,000 in 2025 for the treatment and welfare of persons with cerebral palsy in Kenya. In recognition of these efforts, he has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador of the Cerebral Palsy Centre in Kenya.

His commitment to service extends beyond the stage. In 1999, he donated his salary as a government school teacher to the Kargil Relief Fund. In 2019, he inspired students of the Nachiketa Schooling System to raise ₹3.75 lakh for the families of the Pulwama martyrs. Whether through public campaigns, charity performances or educational initiatives, Sairam Dave has consistently used his art to create a meaningful impact beyond entertainment.
